The Bellows Sub Assembly - Adult ABA with Disk-Ring-Bumpers BCG is used in an anesthesia delivery system, which provides a sophisticated ascending bellows type ventilation. This system helps by taking in ambient air, which can be enriched with oxygen from a cylinder. The bellow assembly contains bellows snapped to a disk, molded in stress and with bumpers, making it robust. The bellows filled with anesthetic gases are placed in a rigid plastic outer chamber. A pressurized gas is routed between bellows and its outer plastic chamber. This compresses the bellows and the anesthetic gases available inside bellows are delivered into the patient through a breathing system thus forming a dual circuit. The ascending bellow usage makes the bellow assembly as well as the entire anesthesia delivery system safe since because if a circuit disconnection occurs, the bellows will not fill.
